The Eugene Astronomical Society's monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at the Eugene Science Center, located at 2300 Leo Harris Parkway in Eugene, Oregon, just south of Autzen Stadium.
Meeting time is 7:00 PM–9:00 PM. Come a little early to visit and get a good seat. Meetings include programs on visual astronomy, telescope use and maintenance, astrophotography, cosmology, and many other topics of interest to amateur astronomers. These programs often generate interesting questions during the talk and spirited discussion afterward. Once a year (in December) we have a swap meet and pot luck dinner, and in January we often host a telescope workshop where people can bring their scopes in for a tune-up or just bring their curiosity and talk with club members about amateur astronomy.
Visitors and guests are welcome! The club only asks for a $1 contribution from non-members.
